English all around

Wherever we are, whatever we do – the English language surrounds us, so why not use authentic sources rather than a coursebook? In this conversation course we will be working with material from The Guardian, The BBC, The British Council and others in order to revise and extend our vocabulary and use it in active conversations. Speaking, listening, reading, solving riddles, playing games and coming up with own ideas and wishes are part of actively discovering the beauty of the English language with a fun element. Adapting the language to different situations ( official enquiry or talking to a friend, booking or buying something) in style and expression as well as creating situations to have conversations on different subjects are part of the course. Grammatical issues will be touched but not being taught separately as we focus on the natural acquisition and usage of the language.
Most of all the usage of English in a fun and creative way is the aim of the course where contributions are welcomed and considered very valuable.
