Comics for Beginners – Comic Drawing in English

This course offers an introduction to the exciting world of comic creation and visual storytelling.
Together, we will explore cartoon-style character design, drawing techniques, visual narratives, and the fundamental principles of comic storytelling in a dynamic and accessible way.
Throughout the course, participants will learn the basics of comic drawing while developing their own creative visual language. We will cover character design, sequencing, and storytelling through images, panels, and visual narratives. Practical exercises, creative experimentation, and individual guidance will support each participant in their artistic process and encourage the development of their own artistic style.

The course is divided into three sessions:
Session 1: Character Design Intensive
Session 2: Introduction to Comic Elements and Storytelling
Session 3: Final Project

By the end of the course, participants will create their own short comic strip.
No previous drawing experience is required.
The course will be held primarily in English.

A minimum level of B1 in English is required to participate in the course, and it is assumed that you can speak English.

Dieser Kurs bietet eine Einführung in die spannende Welt des Comiczeichnens und des visuellen Erzählens.
Gemeinsam werden wir auf dynamische und leicht verständliche Weise das Charakterdesign im Cartoon-Stil, Zeichentechniken, visuelle Erzählformen und die Grundprinzipien des Comic-Storytellings erkunden.

Der Kurs ist in drei Einheiten unterteilt:

Am Ende des Kurses erstellen Sie ihren eigenen kurzen Comicstrip.
Vorkenntnisse im Zeichnen sind nicht erforderlich.
Die Hauptsprache des Kurses ist Englisch.

Für die Teilnahme am Kurs sind mindestens Englischkenntnisse auf Niveau B1 erforderlich, und es wird vorausgesetzt, dass Sie Englisch sprechen können.
