Are you looking to take your English skills to the next level? Our (pre)intermediate English course at the Volkshochschule is designed to help you build upon your existing knowledge and confidently communicate in English.
Throughout the course, we will use the comprehensive textbook "On Point B1" as well as other resources. The book covers a wide range of topics and language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Each unit focuses on practical language use, providing you with the necessary tools to engage in everyday conversations and express yourself accurately.
The course will also incorporate authentic materials, such as news articles, videos, and audio recordings, to expose you to real-life English usage and foster cultural understanding. We will explore different aspects of English-speaking cultures and customs, enabling you to communicate effectively in diverse contexts.
By the end of the course, you will have expanded your vocabulary, improved your grammar accuracy, and gained confidence in expressing yourself in English. You will be able to understand and participate in discussions on familiar topics, read and comprehend authentic texts.
