Step 1: Registration as a participant in vhs.cloud

You must first register as a participant in vhs.cloud if you want to take part in this course. If you have registered before, you do NOT need to register again.

Once you have registered, you will receive an email with your password and you can log in directly.

Step 2: Enroll in the virtual course room

Log in to vhs.cloud: vhs.cloud/login. Then click on "My courses" (“Meine Kurse”) in the top right menu. Then click on "+ Join new course". (“Neuem Kurs beitreten”)

Copy the course code from the course details above into the form field. Click "Log in" („Anmelden“). (picture 1)

Write a short message to your teacher. For example, write "Hello" or "I would like to participate in the course." Click "Register" (“Anmelden”). Now your teacher knows that you want to join the online course. (picture 2)

Once the teacher has confirmed you, you will see your course after logging into vhs.cloud. Sometimes this takes a few days. To do this, click on "My courses" (“Meine Kurse”) in the menu at the top right.

Important: Register on vhs.cloud at least 30 minutes before your first class and log in to your course. If you do this later, your teacher may not be able to enroll you in the course in time and you may miss the first class. It also allows us to support you better if you need help.

Step 3: Joining the conference

Most courses stream live in vhs.cloud via the conference function. To join the conference, please log in to vhs.cloud at least 5 minutes before the course starts. Select "My courses" (“Meine Kurse”) in the top right menu and select the appropriate course. This will take you to the course room. In the course room you will find the function "Conference" (“Konferenz”) on the right. (picture 3)

Click on "Open Zoom (or BigBlueButton)" (“Konferenz in neuem Fenster starten”. You may have to wait briefly until the teacher has entered the virtual course room. (picture 4)
